When the DNA sequence is loaded, the restriction enzyme sites are automatically detected and marked on the Sequence Map and circular Map. The enzyme list is displayed by default.
When a particular enzyme is selected either on the scene or in the enzyme panel, the restriction site sequence will be highlighted and the cutting profile is shown. When the mouse is placed over the enzyme on the scene, the enzyme name, the selected cutting position, and the number of cut sites (total in a sequence) are displayed.
Toggle Off / Toggle On All Enzyme
Unchecking the checkmark next to Enzymes will toggle off all enzymes. No restriction sites are displayed on the scene. There are no changes in enzymes' visibility settings.
Clicking the “Enzymes” again will toggle on all enzymes. Restriction sites are displayed on the scene in accordance with their visibility settings.
Toggle Off / Toggle On a Type of Enzyme
A given enzyme type (e.g., unique 6+ cutters) can be toggled off by deselecting a given enzyme type in the enzyme panel. No restriction sites of this given type ('unique 6+ cutters') will be displayed on the scene.
The given enzyme type (e.g., Dual cutters) can be toggled on by selecting the given enzyme type in the enzyme list. This will display all enzymes of this type on the scene. Restriction enzymes of a given type are shown in the panel.
Toggle Off / Toggle On a Particular Enzyme
A given enzyme can be toggled off by clicking three dots on the right of the enzyme name, then click Hide in the dropdown. No restriction sites of the given enzyme are displayed on the scene. Given restriction enzyme in the panel is marked as not visible.
If a given enzyme is hidden, it can be toggled on by clicking three dots on the right of the enzyme name, then click Show in the dropdown. All restriction sites of the given enzyme will be displayed on the scene. Given restriction enzyme in the panel is marked as visible.
