If the sequence file contains primer information, the primer(s) will be displayed by default. The user can toggle on or off all primers, or a particular primer.
When a particular primer is selected either on the scene or in the primer panel, the primer will be highlighted in all maps and the primer panel. When the mouse is placed over the primer on the scene, the primer properties, such as name, description, sequence, strand, location (start-end position), length, GC content (GC%), melting temperature (TM), predicted size of a protein are displayed.
Toggle Off / Toggle On All Primers
Unchecking the checkmark next to primers will toggle off all primers. No primer will be displayed on the scene.
Clicking the “Primer” again will toggle on all primers. Primers are displayed on the scene in accordance with their visibility settings.
Toggle Off / Toggle On a Particular Primer
A given primer can be toggled off by clicking three dots on the right of the primer name, then click Hide in the dropdown. The given primer in the panel is marked as not visible and will not be displayed on the scene.
If a given primer is hidden, it can be toggled on by clicking three dots on the right of the primer name, then click Show in the dropdown. The restriction enzyme in the panel is marked as visible and is displayed on the scene.
