There are two places you can manually add a primer to a sequence.

From Create Dropdown

On the sequence tab where the primer will be added, select “Primer” from the “Create” dropdown. You will see the Create/Edit primer window on the right panel. Add primer name, description, and select strand. The primer sequence is auto-calculated based on the selected sequence. You can change the start and end position of the primer. After the information is added, press “Save” to create the new primer.

From Primer Panel

On the sequence tab where the primer will be added, clicking the arrow to expand the side panel, then pressing +Add New Primer in the primer panel to open the Create/Edit primer window. After filling in all information, press “Save” to create the new primer.

Note: if no sequence is selected, add primer option is disabled
