The system is set to search “Bases” by default. After you enter a DNA sequence in the search box, the sequence is searched in both strands and is case insensitive. If there are matches, the number of matches is shown next to the search box. You will be navigated to the location of the first search result and the corresponding part of the sequence is highlighted. You can navigate between search results by pressing the up or down arrow.
