On 25/09/20 we will be releasing a small update to the registration module. This will only impact the functions related to bulk importing and updating. This will NOT impact registration from ELN experiments or individual registration.

This update will change the layout and design of the SD rollback page (renamed Bulk Registration Log). This will impact the ability to rollback any uploads prior to this change. We request that you (and any affected users) review your uploads prior to Friday 25/09 to make sure any rollbacks are completed. These rollbacks will not be available to users after this date. We can always perform a rollback for any previously uploaded file prior to this date but it will require engineering intervention. 
 

New Features

• Bulk registration now supports excel file formats (.xlsx) in addition to .sdf and .csv file extensions
• Error reports will no longer be emailed to the user. Users can download the error file directly from the upload page or from the Bulk Registration Log 
• Error files will be returned in the same format as the original file uploaded (.csv returns .csv etc.)
• Bulk Updates will be logged in the Bulk Registration Log with the user's name, date updated, and filename
• Multiple backend changes to help with graceful error recovery of the system
