In a chemistry experiment, after the product is registered through the stoichiometry table, it can be added to the inventory system.
- Click the product tab, click the “Register” link next to Reg ID to register the product. Please refer to the “Register From Stoichiometry Table” user guide for detailed instruction.
Note: In order to create inventory, a value must be entered in either the Theoretical Mass field or the Measured Mass field of the product.
- After the batch is created, there will be two options: Add to Inventory or Add to Experiment. Press the “Add to Inventory” button.
- A new window will pop up to add inventory.
- Select the location where the product will be added to

- The Amount and Amount Units are auto filled based on the mass from the stoichiometry table. The number of Containers is defaulted to be 1. The number can be changed by pressing the up and down arrows or entering a new number in the field. The Amount Per container will be auto calculated based on the number of containers.
- Give a name to the container
- Enter the barcode(s). If the number of containers equals 1, enter 1 barcode. If multiple containers will be created, multiple barcodes should be provided.
Note: The number of barcodes needs to equal the number of containers!
