Edit an Existing Request Type

  1. In the Workflow window, click the Create/Update Item Tables you want to edit. This will open the request type in a new window to edit.

 

  1. Following steps in “Create a New Request Type” to edit request type name (step 2), configure request name(step 3), checkboxes of different options (step 4), and frozen column (step 5).

 

 

  1. Configure Request Notification: press this button will open the Notification Editor. Please refer to the “Manage Workflow Notifications” user guide for more information.

 

  1. Following step 6 in the “Configure Request Types in Workflow” user guide to add new fields. All fields can be edited by clicking the “Edit” button inline of the field. Please refer to step 3 in the “Edit an Existing Request Item Type” for more information.

 

  1. The existing request item type can’t be deleted or disabled. It can be replaced by selecting a different request item type from the dropdown list. A new request item type can be added by pressing the “+Add Request Item Type” button.

 

  1. When you finish, press “Submit” to save your changes. If you don’t want to save any changes, press “CANCEL”.
