In Registration, this area is used to configure how registration IDs will be appended. The first dropdown next to each part of the ID is a number, this numbering will determine the order the Registration ID is configured.

1. Static Name: This is a static prefix that is typically appended first. We highly recommend using between 1-5 alphanumeric values for this option. This option is not required
2. Numbering: This option will determine how numbers are appended to your registration entities. This option is REQUIRED for all registration groups. There are 3 configurations available:
   1. Incrementing: The system will start at the number 1 and increment up by 1 for each unique entity created within the registration group. These numbers will be provided exactly in order. NOTE: This option will NOT reuse any number that has been deleted.
   2. Random: The system will assign a random number to any new entity created in the group.
   3. Incrementing w/ gap filling: This works in the same manner as the incrementing option however the system will reuse any number that is removed. This will fill any number of gaps in your entities with the next entity created.

The text box after the dropdown under numbering will allow you to configure a minimum number of digits. The system will provide zero padding to fill the requested digits if the number created is below the minimum threshold e.g. If the number is set to 4 the first record will be 0001. NOTE: The system will continue numbering if you exceed the minimum automatically e.g. in the previous example the ten thousandth and one record will display 10001.

3. Append Child number: This option is REQUIRED if you have the option “Has Children” selected. This allows you to determine the number of child digits used when appending child numbering to the parent registration ID. The options are 2 or 3 digits.

The system has built-in validation that will prevent you from saving a configuration if you have not provided the minimum necessary data in this section.
