Link Experiments to Experiments

  1. Navigate to one of the two experiments, click the new link button in the top right.
  1. Select experiment from the first drop down (this is the default selection)
  1. Click into the search for the experiment box which will open a type-ahead search. Begin to type the title or a keyword from the experiment you wish to link to the current experiment in the type-ahead section. Select the experiment you wish to link from the list of suggestions.
  1. The “Link as” option allows you to designate the linked experiment as the previous or next step. You can also designate the link as a generic reference link. You can add details in the comment section denoting the purpose of the link.
  1.  If the "Bi-directional Link" option is selected a link will be added to both the linked experiment and the current experiment. NOTE: if you are linking to a signed and closed or witnessed experiment the link will only be visible in the experiment view. The PDF will not be altered. 
  1.  Once you select Confirm Link, the link will appear in the experiment links table.
