DNA sequences can also be retrieved from NCBI’s database using NCBI sequence IDs.

1. Select the “Import from NCBI” tab

2. Enter the NCBI ID of your sequence of interest in the ID field.

3. Press the “Search” button to search for the corresponding sequence and name in NCBI’s Database.

4. The corresponding sequence name will appear. Once imported, the NCBI Sequence name will become the BioDrive Sequence’s tab name, however, it can be manually edited.

5. Press “Create” to import the DNA sequence.
