This workflow was called “admin approval” in the previous registration system. Turning this workflow on forces all registered entities in a group to be reviewed and approved by a designated individual. The registered entities will not appear anywhere in a company's registration database until records are approved by a designated individual.

  1. When the setting is turned on in the application template a new permission called “Approve” will display in the permissions area
    1. Any user can be an approver in the system.
      1. The user MUST have VIEW access to the registration group to approve records
    2. There is no limit to the number of approvers you can enable
    3. This setting must be enabled per registration group

  1. When a user has the permission “Approver” they will see a new option in the left navigation bar called Approval Queue
  1. Records will be collected in this queue as they are created in the group
  2. The records will not be able to be searched for until they are approved and added to the permanent record
