1. Find an inventory item that is the same object type and has all the fields you want to include in the import file.

An example is shown below. The object type of this inventory item is Bottle.

2. Open Arxspan Search by clicking the “Search” icon on the top right corner on the dashboard page.

3. After the search page is loaded, look for Inventory on the left navigation bar. Find and click the fields listed in the sample inventory item in step 1 to add them as search criteria. Clicking “Advanced Filters” will add filter settings at the bottom of the search criteria. Set criteria to filter the search result and click “Submit Search” to perform the search.

4. In the search result, the column is arranged in the same order as that of the search criteria are added to the search. Select “Download as SD File” and click “Go”. 

5. The result is saved in the “Download” folder as a .sdf file. This file can be used as the template to create a file to be used in inventory import.
